What's a mailing list?
Mailing lists, for those of you don't know, are a way for folks interested in a particular topic to coorespond
to the whole group at a time, sort of like a newsgroup. The biggest differance between a newsgroup and a mailing
list is the way you access the information. In newsgroups, you have to log onto a mail server, open a particular
newsgroup and then sift through the articles you want. With mailing lists all the articles are sent right to you,
automatically. You can receive mailing list entrys one of two ways:
- Standard form Receive articles individually, one by one. This is nice because
you can clearly differentiate the topic threads and respond easily. But, if the list gets really busy,
you could see your mailbox fill up.
- Digest form Receive articles compiled in digests. This is what it sounds like.
The mailing list server takes in the messages and stores them. Once it compiles a number of messages
(usually 10 at a time) it will send the whole pack out to you.

You! As long as you're an Acura Legend owner or interested enthusiast who loves to talk about the Legend! BMW
& Lexus owners need not apply (just kidding!). You need only follow a few simple rules:
- Please do not use any profanity
- Please do not post anything non-Legend related (like spam)
- Please take flames and personals arguments outside the list
- Please do not attach graphic files; use links instead

How do I switch from the standard to digest form?
Too many messages waiting for you in your mailbox each day? You should consider switching to digest form, which
compiles 10 messages into one e-mail. Simply send e-mail to legend-request@lists.best.com.
Issue the following commands into the body of your message:
unsubscribe your email address
subscribe your email address
end
That will unsubscribe instant posts, and subscribe you to daily digests.
