I have a Legend GS, and the Type II engine pulls very well at high speeds. My friends have Mustang GT's
to supercharger Ford Thunderbirds. They laugh that I come in with a Legend, but they like the GS
styling with the spoiler. They say it's for looks, and I say lets get a run at it.
I beat all of them. They got a better start-off, but I'm talking once you get past 60 mph, the Legend
really starts pulling away because the Mustang's and Thunderbirds have nothing at higher RPM's. We
would pull some stunts down a nice 'infamous' road at night. My friends were like 'No way that just
happened!' They wanted to check and make sure I wasn't cheating (don't we all say that when we lose?
*snickers*). I take them out for a ride and they are amazed of the power band once you go past
4,000 RPM. The fastest I pulled was around 140 mph with a buddy in the car. I could have kept going,
but there was a big intersection coming up.

I heard from the police over the weekend that my 1993 L Sedan that was stolen last October was recovered last month
(State Farm's problem now). It did go to a chopshop in Miami, but to have all new VIN's put on (on the dash, engine,
etc). It was then re-keyed, reregisted, and re-insured and brought to Shalimar, Florida, a small town in the Florida
panhandle (the redneck riveria). Some juvies have been using it to drive drugs back and forth across North Florida.
I spoke to the arresting officer today, and he said it was very clean and well maintained. Maybe they visit the
different websites for tech advice?

After I first got my learner's permit, I was just dying to try out my dad's Legend. So we get out from the DMV and I
asked my dad if I could drive back home (notice, this is rush hour traffic). So I was all excited and jumpy about
getting into the car.
The first thing I never realized when I first got into the car is that everything sort of just curves into you like
you are part of the car. I backed it out, feeling ever more excited about it. My dad is like, "Take is slow now."
I'm like, "Hell, whatever." Immediately as I pressed the brakes, all you had to do is tap it, and it stops. I get out
of the DMV and this is a really busy intersection with cars going in both directions. So here I feel the adrenaline
running. I had a clear lane, and I jammed down the accelerator and let me tell you, this is the best thing ever that
you can get from a car, the car jumps at the 6600 RPM redline and I noticed a couple seconds later I was doing like
60 mph.
I was like "Whoa!!!" Anyway, I had to drive my moms Chrysler Sebring one day, and after driving my dad's Legend GS,
I have to say, the Sebring is a piece of sh*t. As of now, I can't drive since it's raining and that poor baby is just
sitting in the garage waiting for it's future owner. I will always drive the Legend (or an NSX!), it's just a great
car and it feels very safe and secure.

My name is Ben Bernard I am a 17 year old from Tennessee.I personally don`t drive a Legend, I drive the car which
my parents gave me, a 1985 Saab Turbo. That is not as good as it may sound for the Saab is so old a torn up that
it could net about $500 right now. So I went to visit my aunt in Louisiana for about a week (I had friends down there
and she could tell I was wanting a vechile to drive to go see them). Well she just handed me the keys to her 1994
Acura Legend sedan.
The second I sat down I knew that I had found my dream car. I did not get out of that car for a week. The smooth yet
powerful ride, the quick yet steady acceleration, the plush tan leather interior, the deep thumping Bose system, and
who could forget the jealous stares I recieved from those who saw this beautiful machine slip silently by.
Unfortunately I had to return home. Ever since then I have been happy with my Saab knowing that there is something
better out there for me.
Then I made the mistake of reading Jim's poetic description of these wondeful machines and once again I realized what
I was missing. Vivian is a beautiful vehicle and I wish Jim much luck. Thank you very much for your time I wish all of
you much luck in your maintenance of your Acura Legend, and continue on in your endeavors. The vivid descriptions are
quite impressive.
