Last Friday I was on my way to the office on the usual route. I pulled to the stop light next to this dark
green convertable V12 Jaguar XJS( the previous model) to my left. So I looked inside the cabin and saw this
cocky looking African American dude with a cigar in his mouth already with a cocky attitude glaring at me.
My thought at the moment was how could a person smoked a cigar so early in the morning!
Before my thought was over the light turned green and naturally I responded with a quick rev and dropped the
clutch. The engine reved quickly rev to 4,500 rpm and I changed to second. To my left I noticed the jag is
keeping up with the launch. So instead of change to third I floored the gas pedal and the rpm quickly went to
5,500, I went to third and the Jag is half a car length behind. As the rpm drop to 3,500 the Jag start to gain
a few a few feet on the left but quickly loosing the pace as my rmp went to 4,500, 5,000, and 6,000. Before
I shift to fourth we were already at the next stop light. I made a right turn and Jag followed. I speed though
the turn and gained about a hundred feet and came to the next light. The jag pulled along side and I took a
quick look at him. He was a happy camper. So I laughed at him and decided to let him be when the light turned
green. Oh, my AC was on the whole time. Have a good one!

In 1995 my mother bought a Legend LS. It's got 200 hp and it halls some serious arse. I took it to school this
one day, and all through out the day I was just waiting until lunch when a few of my friend and I were going to
go out to lunch. This was the first time that my parent really let loose with the keys. Well, lunch finally came
around and we all pilled into three cars. Of course the Legend, and a Saab 900 turbo sedan, and a Maxima SE. We
decide to head to this little pizzeria place about ten minutes down this windy road.
It was a nice day and we had a little Buffett bummin on the Bose sound system (oh so sweet). We were cruzin' down
these country roads at about 60 mph. This turn was coming up and I could see the two other cars slowing down. What
do I do? Slam the gas and take off. I pushed it up to 80 mph around this turn that most cars can't even attempt at
50 mph. We pulled around the turn like the car was on rails. Everyone in the car looked at each other with one of
those "holy sh*t looks". I just looked back with a smile. We got to the pizzeria place and that's all anyone could
talk about.
I am currently looking at buying a GS for myself. I love those cars!!

As I was heading North after dropping my friend off at Ala Moana Shopping Center, I was coming up to the
intersection of Kaheka and Kanunu St. There was a Mustang making a left turn in my direction so everyone was going
around him. I followed all the other vehicles and as I entered the intersection, an old man making a left turn in
the opposite direction of me jolted across. I jammed on my brakes, and so did he because of delivery trucks in his
way after making his turn.
It was too late, I smashed into his left side passenger door at about 23 mph. All pissed off because I recently got
my Legend back from a previous accident, I got out of the car and inspected the damage. My right corner lamp, right
headlamp assembly, right turn signal, and front bumper was damaged. It didn't look too bad because when I pulled
into the University of Hawaii parking lot none of my friends noticed until I pointed it out to them. Anyway, as for
the other car, it was a '97 Camry V6 LE. His passenger door was completely into his car, and his rear panel above
his R rear fender was all bent up. He couldn't open his door let alone roll down his windows becuase I guess I
damaged things in the door panel.
After about 2 weeks of our insurance companies battling it out, it turned out to be his fault. Since they are going
to replace the right corner lamp and right headlamp, I decided to purchase the 1 piece headlamp from Japan and have
the body shop pay me for the price of one corner lamp and one headlamp. Overall its only about $350 out of my pocket.
Again, this goes to show how solid the Legend is when you compare the visual damage on both cars involved in the
accident.
