love my Legend and don't think I will ever own anything which is not a Honda product. In the

I bought my Legend with just under 11 k miles from a guy that took amazing care of the car.
Still has new smell inside. Not a scratch or swirl mark on the entire car, interior perfect.
(when i got it) Now has about 14,500 on it. Emaculate condition. The Legend is an amazing car.
Low stance, great handling, yet smooth ride. Very responsive acceleration.(especially on the
highway). Not sure about the gas consumption yet, maybe the small tank capacity throws me off.
Love the look of the car and how it drives is second to none. It was really tough finding a rim
for this car because of the offset. My rims look just right for my car. I lucked out because
they are the factory offset with a wider rim so the come out just a bit more than stock. If I
had the $$$ I would do much more to this car! What was Acura thinking when they discontinued?

The car has 24k miles, magnetic doors like the Mercedes (they pull in when you close the door). I've hit 130
mph with the car no problem. I need to get a perfomance exhaust to release the power behind the engine. I

I love it, six speed, Type II engine can really leave a lot of cars in the dust, the only thing to complain
about is whenever I am at 3rd gear and up, seems like the clutch doesn't grab when I floor the engine. Also
I need a lot of headache medicine for my passengers.

When I was in college I detailed cars on the side and worked as a valet in Center City, Philadelphia. I
was lucky to have the opportunity to detail and drive a lot of beautiful vehicles. A few cars that I've
especially always been impressed with are the Acura Legend (coupe, of course), the Lexus Super Coupe, and
the Mercedes 300CE (2 door coupe). As I bounced around the internet at the various used car sites, I
started to realize what a killer vehicle the 91-95 Acura Legend was, and what solidified it for me was
the black coupe LS. To me, that car exemplifies the way a car should look. Smooth, beautiful lines, luxury,
etc. All in all this car looks like a Honda's big, bad brother on steroids. In short, the car is bado!
Now as I peer outside at the 1992 black on black coupe that I just purchased, which has 56,000 miles on
it, and is in mint condition, I can't help but realize what a great decision I made and what a terribly
poor decision that Acura made discontinuing this monster in the states! What I want to know is ..... who
the hell made that decision? Obviously, they are no longer with the company. Thanks for having this site.

Your site is incredible! The bulletin board an invaluable resource. Please keep up this obvious labor of
love. We had enviously moaned, drooled and watched other Legends drive by ever since we drove one 3 years
ago. We've had our '91 LS (nicknamed Trinity) for about 3 weeks and enjoy it more each day. The previous
owner kept it in near mint condition for it's 107k mile life and had every scheduled maintenance check
performed. The luxury, power and performance are incomparable. Driving this car is truly an erotic
experience. We will hopefully purchase a second one in the near future (have my eyes on a 93 GS 6-spd
coupe). The Legend just can't be surpassed!

I own a 1992 Legend LS and a 1994 Legend GS. I am looking to pass off the 92 Legend to my kids and move
into something newer. However, the RL does not do it for me and is not an option. I am looking at the Lexus
GS 400, but before I decide I would like to see what Acura brings out to replace the RL. Rumors are that it
will be released in the spring of 2000 as a 2001, and will be powered by a V-8. Is it worth waiting for?

cars were legends the first day they were made and will always be. The Legend is right up
